Introduction: Thai bodywork is a unique style of bodywork that embodies the essence of loving kindness, healing touch, yoga, and meditation. With these qualities as its source, Thai bodywork flows onto the mat though a graceful blend of deep stretching, energetic movement techniques, and compression via the hands, feet, knees, and elbows. Each full Thai bodywork session lasts at least 90 minutes on the mat. We'll also spend a few minutes before the session, getting a sense of your current situation and any intentions or specific areas of concern you'd like to address. Each session meets you exactly as you are, no matter your current physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual state. Moving slowly and consciously, each full session lasts at least 90 minutes long, so that the specific needs of your entire body being are given time to arise and be addressed. Working slowly and consciously also give us more encouragement to let go, both externally and internally. This process of letting go, of allowing, is one of the most precious gifts of Thai bodywork. When we are given the space and encouragement to completely surrender to the healing, this is when Thai bodywork moves beyond the physical level and can become truly transformational. Working holistically in this way, we see that the body holds and reflects our entire experience of life. Our true intention, then, is to allow the healing effect of each session to flow into all facets of being, awakening radiant health, increased flexibility, joyful well-being, and positive personal transformation on all levels. After the session is over, you are given a few minutes to lay quietly, resting in the peaceful stillness and healing space we've just created together. If there are any questions you'd like to ask or experiences you'd like share, there is time for discussion as well.
