- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Chapter 7 Bankruptcy can be filed for as little as $895 (plus court costs and legally-required credit counseling courses and credit pulls). Chapter 13 Bankruptcy can be filed for as little as $3995 (plus court costs and legally-required credit counseling courses and credit pulls). Hourly work - such as complicated family law or criminal cases - are charged at $250 per hour if I am working on your case and $150 per hour if my paralegal is working on your case. Some cases, such as no-contest divorces or DUIs, are straightforward and can be handled with a flat fee upfront. DUIs can be defended for as little as $2995, and no-contest divorces for as little as $495. Civil litigation is paid on a contingency basis, meaning you don't pay unless you win. When the case is settled completely, my fee is 25% of the final settlement.
