April Fletcher has a natural openness to conversing by listening gently at depth and then sharing ideas infused with her personal experience/knowledge/touch. She waits and listens; listens with care from the beginning to the end until the speaker has clearly finished delivering their thought/question/mind. You can feel her listening. The majority of listeners, without being aware, are often caught with their own concern, and therefore in many situations do not fully engage with the speaker's. I have known April for over ten years; her creative listening and definite communication/teaching skills continue to fascinate and excite me. April Fletcher has helped me immensely over the last year rediscovering what I want to do with myself and and my career. I've gone from feeling like I should let go of my musical talents and career to really cherishing them and focusing on how to get involved in the scene again. How does she do this? Well... She is a great listener - She'll let me say all the different things I need to get off my chest without judgment. After I've vented out my ideas and feelings, she offers her super-powered support and encouragement. I know that if I talk with April, I am going to feel better about my situation and motivated to go out and get things done. And she's very creative in the activities she suggests I do to reach my goals. It will range from really pushing myself, to taking it a few notches down and listening to my undercurrent - meditation - taking me time. She is a positive force in my life. I love my work and constantly invest in myself to become better as an artist/creator, person and coach. I read, study, listen and participate.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started playing piano when I was 9 years old and my creative life has continually evolved over the years. Helping people develop their careers and talent have always been a natural thing for me to do - I've been doing it quietly for years.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I understand what it is to search for your passion and step into your power. After, at one point, having lost everything, I grew to understand my power and how important it is to help others find theirs so they can live with confidence, passion and without regret.
