What types of customers have you worked with?
I am a NYS licensed, Nationally Certified massage therapist whose primary modality is Therapeutic Massage. Into this work, I add the influence of Connective Tissue Therapy, Meridian Massage, Aromatherapy and sometimes, Kinesthetic Awareness & Trigger Point work. Other add-ons include Hot Stones and Thai Herbal Massage Balls, with prior notice.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would say that it makes sense to shop around to find a body worker with whom you resonate, and who hears what you have to say. It may happen that the first therapist you see is amazing and a perfect fit, but it may also happen that it takes a few (or more) sessions to find 'the one.' So, keep the faith! :)
