- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Other than Skype, no. But I am constantly researching, reading, and listening. One never stops learning.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I do not remember but I am pretty sure I was born singing. If you look at my baby picture taken right after I was born, I look as if I am holding a microphone. As far as I can remember, I was always singing and dancing. It is just what I do and who I am.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Usually I work with clients who want to work on their mix (the area of your voice between your chest voice and your head voice), song choice, and overall performance. The first lesson I talk to the student to find out what they want, then I listen to their voice by working on some vocal exercises, they sing a song for me, and then we talk about what is going with their voice and what they would like me to help them with first. It all depends on that first encounter. I cannot help unless I know what I am working with at that time.
