Introduction: Top Cat Caterers is a "boutique" catering/personal chef business, which means we specialize in smaller, more intimate gatherings. Many larger catering companies won't cater smaller events, but that is our specialty! This allows us more control over the quality of the food we offer, as well as pricing. Catering is just one service we offer! As personal chefs, we also love creating beautiful, restaurant-style meals right in your own kitchen. It is a truly elegant experience for those special occasions! We also work with many talented, professional servers who help us to create the perfect atmosphere, with food served hot from the kitchen, beautifully plated, for all your guests. Lastly, we are excited to share our love of food and creativity through our gourmet home cooking and wine classes. We especially enjoy one-on-one experiences with people who share our interests and passions for food and wine! Food brings people together. It's social. It's creative. It's personal and traditional. Families and friends create special bonds as they break bread together around a table of wonderful, delicious food. Food is fun! We love sharing the community of food and seeing the happiness it can bring to any gathering.

I hired Christine of TCC to make a private, personal dinner for my mother's birthday. We worked out a menu together and she gave suggestions and I explained my mother's favorites. In the end, it turned out perfectly! Christine surprised us with a lovely amuse bouche and then we had several wonderful courses, each more delicious than the last. Christine was fun, professional, and prepared all of the food and served it, so that I could just relax and enjoy my family. The crowning joy was the vanilla bean panna cotta with a fresh raspberry couli---absolutely over the top creamy, fresh and wonderful. We had such a great evening and having a private chef, in my own home, made me feel very pampered. If you are looking for a caterer for an intimate gathering, I couldn't recommend a company more highly. Since they focus on small parties and dinners, you get very personal, timely service! I know that they have cooking classes in private homes too. . . I will definitely try that next time I have a girls night in!

Christinecame highly recommended to us and I am happy to say we were not disappointed. We were celebrating my Mother's 90th birthday with a combat on of different ages and appetite needs. Christine and crew were very accommodating in planning a wonderful menu within our budget. Everyone raved about the 3 pasta entrees they served, loved the vegetarian lasagna! They were over the top in being fun and friendly and cleaning up thoroughly. I would recommend them to anyone and plan on using them again at every opportunity.

I hired Christine and TCC for my mother's 75th birthday party.My needs were very specific for this party and Chris and her crew made our dreams come true and pulled together amazing appetizers, veal, gnocchi, and desert. TCC went the extra mile and did wine parings with each meal. Our guests were riveted with the information TCC imparted to us as they poured the wines! What an amazing night.

We engaged Top Cat Caterers for an intimate Christmas party for 14 in our home. The hors d'oeuvres were to die for, and our meal was exquisite, complete with warm lava cakes for dessert. We were so impressed that we had them back a year later to cater our son's wedding. We had 24 guests. Again, the food was amazing. Christine and her staff were warm and accommodating, honoring all of our special requests. No glass was left empty throughout the evening. We had a delicious, magical event. We will be calling Top Cat again for future events.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We provided an elegant, six-course, plated dinner for someone who was celebrating her 60th birthday. There were eight guests, all big "foodies," so they gave us a lot of free reign with sourcing the food and offering ideas for the menu. What a fun group! We had a blast! The menu consisted of: brie en croute; pear, walnut, and gorgonzola salad; shrimp scampi; and beer-braised short ribs over roasted garlic mashed potatoes and sauteed asparagus. The two desserts consisted of spicy, red-wine poached pears with mascarpone-nutmug cream and individual chocolate lava cakes with a choice of creme anglaise or raspberry coulis. It was a resounding success!

We really appreciate it when you are honest about your budget, and detailed regarding the kind of food and experience you are looking for.
