Introduction: I offer vocal lessons for curious beginners of any age by a professional vocalist Travis Cormier. Lessons are conducted in my studio in Hollywood. Topics covered include: * Introduction & familiarization with the Instrument that is your voice * Breathing techniques and proper note sustaining methods * The do's and don'ts of the chest, head, throat, nasal and falsetto voices * Beginner to intermediate scales and exercises * Vocal maintenance and injury prevention * Mimicking to learn expression (study the greats) * Instruction and learning of specific musical pieces of your choice * Finding your voice (carving your own identity) and more! After a certain point, the curriculum will be specifically adapted to best suit the student when it comes to their progress and their abilities until such point as the student outgrow the need for my instruction.
