Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Convention and trend are not things I strive for. In elementary school I made a realization one day that nearly every boy in my class had a particular brand of white basketball shoes. At recess I noticed it was more than just my class. Somehow there was a certain shift in trend that my classmates were aware of that I had completely missed. I was too busy scouring the library for ancient history books, scientific encyclopedias and riveting autobiographies. Learning, discovering and creating are my natural posture towards what I do. There are plenty of cinematographers and directors who can deliver a look that is correct according to the arbitrary guidelines of the time. I too often make a living doing this kind of work. What stands out about my work is that I am more than willing to try a new way of telling a story, conveying a message, or revealing a concept.

Ty produced our first video for our new company www.the-foodsource.com for our indiegogo campaign. We did the shoot in an aquaponics greenhouse in Colorado Springs. He did an incredible job directing us through our dialogue and keeping us relaxed so we could deliver a compelling message. Ty is an incredible professional and his creativity with editing and the final product far exceeded my expectations! If you want someone you can trust from concept, script, production and final edits, Ty is the one I trust. I would recommend him for creative art pieces, personal or professional production.

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Listening comes first. I’m here to create something of value for my clients. Next comes brainstorming. We can dream big and remove boundaries in exploring the idea. Finally comes bringing the concept to fruition. This is production. It’s full of problem solving, and you won’t find a better companion in the trenches of production.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I went to a university where I studied Cinematic Arts, both hands-on and theory. I graduated with a BFA.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with a wide range of customers from record labels and marketing firms to film studios and individuals. I’ve created documentaries and commercials as well as music videos and feature films.
