"Upper End Leasing has been a blessing in disguise. Upper End Properties saved us from going bankrupt. After having a vacant house on the market for 11 months and 2 contracts falling through with another realtor, we listed it for lease with Liz Gangl with Upper End. Within 12 hours of going live, she had matched us with a high quality tenant right before Christmas. We accepted a short term lease and listed it again in the spring with another high quality tenant. She was very realistic with pricing and we quickly found another tenant. Due to the tenant's circumstances, they moved out of the home before their lease was up but still agreed to pay their rent. Liz suggested that we capitalize on the opportunity to try to sell the house as well as list it for rent. Liz handled the property beautifully. The company has many contractors that they work with to do high quality repairs for reasonable prices. By Liz's diligent work and exceptional follow through, she managed to find us a buyer and close the deal quickly, despite dealing with a very difficult buyer. After managing our rental property for 2 years on our own, we decided to have a professional service manage it for us. We no longer wanted to deal with tenants or the property directly, but instead wanted someone in the middle to handle all of the work associated with the property. Upper End worked with us to develop an approach that we were comfortable with and a management fee that worked with the economics of our property. Upper End has managed the property for more than a year and negotiated an extension to our current lease. We will continue to use Upper End, as they have met every expectation we had.

I wouldn't say we have a standard at all. Please contact me for information regarding our pricing system.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is to set up an appointment to determine the clients goals and level of experience with real estate transactions. We are happy to work with first time home buyers all the way to experienced home sellers. Nowadays, a lot of information is at the clients fingertips with the internet being a great source, so it's my responsibility to make sense of all that information and advise the client.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My background is in real estate investment. When the market went South in 2008-9, it made perfect sense for me to apply my knowledge of buildings and assist potential home sellers or home buyers. The company has grown to roughly 25 REALTORS and I'm happy to help.
