- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I worked in the veterinary field for several years,and I decided I wanted to stay home with my children and I loved animals. So this is a perfect fit!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most common jobs are pet sitting, taxi services, and conceirge services while owners are away. Pet sitting includes daily visits to home on a part time or regular basis. Taxi services include taking your pet back and forth to grooming or vet appointments. Conceirge services include turning lights on and off, picking up mail, and grocery shopping prior to returning home.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask questions to potential pet sitters, you need to trust who you are working with. Also, look for a background in veterinary medicine or experience.
