Introduction: Ward Performance Horses offers training from the 1st time being haltered to finishing. We also stand two studs for breeding as well as pasture boarding. The facility consist of a 250 x 150 roping arena, 2 round pens, and plenty of pens; there is also cattle on hand. Our training program follows the lines of natural horsemanship and common sense. We do start and finish a lot of barrel horses and usually have several on hand for sale. We also can promote and help sell your barrel horse.

What types of customers have you worked with?
We train & season barrel horses, but we start anything from ponys to draft horses & anything in between. A good foundation is the same on any breed. We also promote & sale customers horses. We offer pasture bording & have 2 studs on site for your breeding needs.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would ask around, word of mouth has been best in our industry. Then I would look at their facility make sure its safe & visit with the person doing the training & see if you feel comfortable, because if you dont your horse probably won't. Ask for reference if you like. One thing I do is I always work with the horse up front so they can see what kind of technics I use & I have a open door policy. Which means your welcome to come ck. on your horse anytime if he's in training or being kept here.
