I stay current by subscribing to several well written design blogs and I take tutorial courses on Lynda.com in addition to the many books and periodicals I own.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I work most often with small businesses local to the Tri-Cities, Tennessee, region who need their branding updated and their website redesigned.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure they have ample means of communication and a strong portfolio. It's very easy to falsify design experience by stealing others' work from the web. Testimonials or references go a long way to establish trust with a potential designer, especially if you plan on working together without ever meeting face-to-face.
