- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started my first webpages in 1998 as a hobby - and like alot of people it all began on webhosts such as Tripod, Geocities, and Angelfire. After a short time I discovered some very basic graphics programs and began creating my own. With so many of my own graphics it made sense to start posting them online for others to use. With that came requests to make custom graphics for people. Things snowballed from that point and soon I registered my domain and began offering freeware, linkware and custom design services.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Web design has changed rapidly over the last few years. Many websites have now taken on a "blog" format which has done away with traditional webpage layout and graphic use. The majority of my projects now are large Flash animation header banners. Sometimes the banner is the only graphic on the customers website so while people may be happy to have fewer graphics they want the one graphic element they do have to be uniquely special to their website content. More and more people want Flash animation and a big beautiful header banner that catches the eye and interest of their website visitors.
