Above and beyond. That is the best way to describe the lengths Joseph goes to in order to give you the day of your dreams. He was AMAZING! Just around 6 weeks before my wedding, I got an email from David's Bridal (where I bought my dress) offering me a free consultation with Joseph, who is partnered with the bridal store. Up until that point, I was planning on having a cousin coordinate day-of and hope for the best. Thank goodness for Joseph (that cousin didn't even show up to the wedding!!) I can honestly say, I've probably had more skype dates with Joseph than I have with my husband. Joseph was always available to chat and bounce ideas off of. He took those ideas and helped me to run with them. I sent him a list of my vendors and he checked in with them and leaned on them until they gave me the information and assurances I needed. On the days, hours, and minutes leading up the wedding he was always available if I needed to go over some aspect of the ceremony/reception with him, or if I just needed some reassurance about the choices that I'd made. He ran through a ceremony rehearsal with me and directed our whole group. He took it upon himself to get to know the neighborhood around my ceremony and reception sites to give me ideas about pictures. On the morning of my wedding, Joseph was such a calm presence. Because of Joseph, I was able to relax and truly enjoy the company of my bridal party, family, and of course my husband. He and his team were absolutely invaluable. I didn't know what to expect, since my budget was very modest--especially for NYC standards--but Joseph was more than willing and able to work within my budget and still provide me with impeccable, professional service and a day I will always look back on fondly!

When my husband and I decided to get married I was physically ill at the thought of another wedding. This would become my second trip down the aisle while Kevin in contrast had not experienced the angst of planning a wedding. I refused to let my fears get the best of me and did not want to deprive Kevin and his side of the family from experiencing this event. My best recollection of my first marriage was the hours-long discussion I had with the coordinator on selecting just the right shade of pink. I still shiver at the sight of the color! I finally found the right guy, the perfect dress and knew that I needed a coordinator to alleviate any frustrations we might encounter over mundane intricacies in planning the wedding. We were not looking for part-time jobs in the event business, rather an event we would enjoy free of hassle and worry. I didn't want a repeat of the first firm and become again consumed in planning. The seamstress referred us to Joseph Coston Weddings and Events. Our first meeting with Joseph was like sitting with a psychic. He looked, listened and weaved straw into gold! Our wedding was beautiful and filled with moments I struggle to describe. The best word I can muster is breathtaking! He instinctively captured the very essence of our relationship and placed evidence of it all over our event. Our guests were graciously welcomed into our world and Kevin and I were left with a string of lasting memories. Joseph Coston Weddings and Events allowed us to plan the marriage and have the wedding.

We carefully listen to the client to determine the objective. Then the fun can really begin with the venue selection and walk-throughs, creating the vision, designing the event and mock-up presentation, vendor selection, menu tastings, attire selection, rehearsals, coordination and so much more. It's truly a fun ride.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Let no one tell you that you can not afford an over-top, mind-blowing event if that is what you truly want. It is a matter of the planner/designer pushing himself and stepping out of the box to make it work.
