If you want to dare to Be different, Be brilliant, Be fabulous, Joseph Coston of Joseph Coston weddings and events will make that dream come true. I wanted to surprise my hubby with a birthday dinner with all our friends and family and Joseph took it to another level. He created the perfect ambiance, mood and setting. He is well organized, extremely detailed oriented, professional and an excellent negotiator. He created a party that was beyond amazing! He handled everything including the venue, the guest list, the invites, the catering, the cake, the flowers, the table setting, the decorations, the theme and most importantly, the entertainment. All I had to do was show up Joseph is a premier planner in the northeast that aims to create moments that delight each of the five senses. I would get married all over again just so Joseph could turn my dreams into a reality!!!

Above and beyond. That is the best way to describe the lengths Joseph goes to in order to give you the day of your dreams. He was AMAZING! Just around 6 weeks before my wedding, I got an email from David's Bridal (where I bought my dress) offering me a free consultation with Joseph, who is partnered with the bridal store. Up until that point, I was planning on having a cousin coordinate day-of and hope for the best. Thank goodness for Joseph (that cousin didn't even show up to the wedding!!) I can honestly say, I've probably had more skype dates with Joseph than I have with my husband. Joseph was always available to chat and bounce ideas off of. He took those ideas and helped me to run with them. I sent him a list of my vendors and he checked in with them and leaned on them until they gave me the information and assurances I needed. On the days, hours, and minutes leading up the wedding he was always available if I needed to go over some aspect of the ceremony/reception with him, or if I just needed some reassurance about the choices that I'd made. He ran through a ceremony rehearsal with me and directed our whole group. He took it upon himself to get to know the neighborhood around my ceremony and reception sites to give me ideas about pictures. On the morning of my wedding, Joseph was such a calm presence. Because of Joseph, I was able to relax and truly enjoy the company of my bridal party, family, and of course my husband. He and his team were absolutely invaluable. I didn't know what to expect, since my budget was very modest--especially for NYC standards--but Joseph was more than willing and able to work within my budget and still provide me with impeccable, professional service and a day I will always look back on fondly!

I had pretty much planned the whole wedding by the time we thought about hiring a day of coordinator and I just wasn't finding anyone I was excited about. Meanwhile, I knew Joseph from a previous job when he lived out here in Chicago. I sent him a note remembering that he did this now and I am SO glad I did! The best thing about Joseph is that he is in your corner from the very start. He wants everything to be perfect and will do everything possible to make it so. Our day flowed flawlessly and I was able to enjoy a nice day getting ready with my bridesmaids and not worry about any of the vendors or preparations. We had a lot of different vendors and he was able to negotiate with all of them for an easy set up. My husband has a big Jewish family and every once in a while they tend towards the dramatic. Needless to say, Joseph handled some very delicate situations with total class and composure. He always came and checked with us and was ready to do whatever he needed. He also bustled my dress fabulously when my bridesmaids were an unable to- thank god! I fully recommend Joseph!

We carefully listen to the client to determine the objective. Then the fun can really begin with the venue selection and walk-throughs, creating the vision, designing the event and mock-up presentation, vendor selection, menu tastings, attire selection, rehearsals, coordination and so much more. It's truly a fun ride.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Let no one tell you that you can not afford an over-top, mind-blowing event if that is what you truly want. It is a matter of the planner/designer pushing himself and stepping out of the box to make it work.
