5 stars are not enough for Rico... My wedding was in October 2013. I began planning and scouring the internet for spanish guitarists an entire year before my big day. Feedback from other couples is the first impression and the very first thing that stood out to me about Rico was his stellar rating. I contacted Rico via email in Novermber 2012 and he responded to me within the day. I had an opportunity to chat with him on the phone and I could really tell based on that conversation that he was the right guy for the job. We communicated regularly through out the year and I felt really confident that my wedding day was also a priority for him. I can't say enough about my wedding day and the services that he provided for us. There is no other like Rico. He drove in to Vegas from LA the night before my wedding which told me that he is a planner and plans all the logistics ahead of time. He was prompt and punctual. I'm not sure how much thought people put into their DJ's voice but Rico had the perfect voice. He wasn't raspy or nasally and he made the ultimate effort in pronouncing names correctly and working in tangent with all of my other vendors. Rico also took the time to learn a special song that I wanted played as my wedding party walked down the aisle. I could seriously go on and on about Rico. My wedding was an absolute dream and Rico was single-handedly the guy who stole the show. To this day, I listen to a CD that I made with all of Rico's songs and it brings me back to the most wonderful day of my life...

We contracted Rico for DJ services for our wedding that occurred on May 30th, 2015. We wanted someone who was bilingual and had great reviews in both DJ and being an emcee. Rico fit the bill perfectly and was very responsive to any question or concern we had. We met just once prior to our wedding date and Rico helped seal the deal with listening to our needs. Come day of the wedding, Rico was promptly on time and was setup to go once he was needed. He helped play a mix of Spanish and English music that was perfectly balanced so that our guests would enjoy the music. Hi would highly recommend Rico Espinoza for your special event! He did such an amazing job from being there on time to set up, playing live guitar during ceremony and reception and keeping everyone dancing the whole night! All of our guests where very impressed with Rico i received a lot of compliments! Rico was the life of our party! Will definetly use him again!

Rico made my wedding so memorable. He is professional as well s very, very talented. I would highly recommend him either solo or with his percussionist. I intend to use him again for an anniversary party. You will not be disappointed. His fee was reasonable as well.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
First time I heard the racing guitars of the Gipsy Kings back in 1993, I fell in love with Spanish flamenco guitar music. My dad was a guitarist as well. As I got older I took it very serious and I began sitting in for many Los Angeles based guitarists. Before I knew it, I was doing many events. It's been over 15 years since my very first "paying" gig!

I provide wedding services, private corporate events, festivals, and public venues.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I'm proud of being able to provide "solo" guitar in a way that not many musicians can. I can provide a very beautiful arrangement with my own distinct sound.. I call it "Spanish Latin guitar"... a blend of flamenco with a Latin flare, a twist of pop, classical, and more musical spices!
