About
As a former marine combat photographer, my background is in photojournalism and action photography, but I also photograph sports, weddings, engagements and events. Some of my specialties include low-light and macro work, special effects, artwork reproduction, and forensic photography. In addition to delivering images on disc or making prints, I'm able to upload your images to a gallery that can be password protected for only you, your friends, and family to see. There is also the option of downloading or buying prints directly from my site. Customers love my professional service, fun attitude, technical capabilities, and clean images.

By far one of the most knowledgeable people I know involving photography. What makes him even better is the fact that he practices what he learns and seeks to become better at it. His skills continue to grow and his pictures are amazing to view. When deciding on a photographer for our wedding we thought of no other person. I appreciate all the hard work and professionalism. Having our photos to share gave us an opportunity to save them for a lifetime.

Shane is professional, courteous, knowledgable and thorough. He also is very organized and able to provide ideas and guidance for those who aren't really sure what they want. Another benefit to working with Shane is that he is flexible, so when things don't quite go as planned (and it seems like there is always something that goes wrong at every wedding - missing rings, late DJ) he is able to adjust and coordinate to keep things as smooth as possible. I would recommend him to everyone I know.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

The most common jobs I do are weddings. Weddings actually take up most of my time because of the amount of editing involved. The editing can become tedious, but there is great satisfaction in being able to look through an entire shoot knowing all of the images are optimized to look their best.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When searching for a wedding photographer, make sure they have a backup camera, flash, and lenses. It's pretty unlikely that a piece of gear will malfunction during the wedding, but it isn't something you want to risk because it does happen. Also, a photographer with backup equipment shows a commitment to their profession.
