- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is discussed in person at the free initial meeting, and is within the comparable to other professional studios' tuition rates.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We all have differing learning styles and goals, but all good learning experiences happen within a warm, patient and attentive environment. Our initial meeting will focus on understanding your inspiration for pursing music, and making a tailored, living plan that guides what we study and how we pursue personal learning goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked as a teacher for over 15 years (within the Anchorage School District and as studio owner). I have a BA in Music (emphasis on Guitar and Composition) from George Fox University. I have a post-bacc Certificate in Teaching from Rio Salado College. I have a State of Alaska Teaching Certificate. I am registered Suzuki Association of the Americas teacher, with multiple trainings listed. I worked as a therapist for 2 years.
