Amerson Events is among the best in the southeast. We are uniquely different. We provide lighting, sound, DJ, music entertainment, photo booths, giant screen movies, and video games, and we personally handle either a single service or all the details of any type of event.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. First thing you can do to help ensure the success of your event would be to talk to your potential vendors on the phone. Get a feel for who they are and what they are like then set up a meeting with your favorites. Planning a party or wedding is not like buying a gallon of milk at the grocery store. Being the cheapest entertainment doesn't mean that the company you are talking to is the best fit for you. Spend a few minutes on the phone or in person can help you have an event that people will brag about how great it was instead of commenting on your poor choice of entertainment.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. If I were a customer I would ask about the process for booking an event and what steps are involved. So many people are surprised when I explain the normal process and we lay out the framework for everything including planning for the little issues that can happen at any event.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. What makes you different from your competitors?

What kind of experience do you have with an event like mine?

Have you worked at this venue or one similar?

Have you worked with some of my other vendors before?

Are you a member of any professional groups?

What are some of your favorite places for events? This question will give you a good idea of the quality of the vendors. If they say their backyard or some run down club then you know the are not the highest quality professional.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. We care about every event we do. It becomes personal to us and we take it serious. Every picture we use is an event we have done. No buying from some photo service. We take pride in working with our clients to ensure we have done everything in our power to make the party fun and successful.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. We get to be part of one of the happiest days of most people's lives. What could be better!! Well maybe delivering their winning lottery checks but at least our job is close.
