- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is fair, and includes consultations. I discount work I do for regular customers, and when there is more than one project to work on, I bundle them all together and offer a 15% discount. I also accept payment installments. (4 max).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We communicate either by phone, email or in person to talk about the project and the expectations. Once I have a clear understanding, I send the estimate, and once that is accepted, I begin the design work. This takes the longest as I research their market, go through lots of idea concepts before I narrow it down to the best ones which I then send to the client. We work on revisions and moving towards approval. Once it is approved, we move to production. I usually ask for payments at the beginning, when I deliver the first proof, and at the completion of the project. I can handle the printing and project management also.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always learning. I keep up with the latest trends and best practices in web design, SEO and social media marketing. I have taken many classes and workshops over the years, and I teach workshops. I am on the advisory board of our community college Graphic Design department.
