Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Be sure to verify that the company is IICRC certified. In addition, it is vital that a mold removal company does not post-test their own work. Always use a 3rd party to verify results.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Bleach is one of the worst products to use on microbial growth. There are no magical chemicals to make mold disappear.

A. Are you IICRC certified?

Are you licensed and insured?
Have you ever failed a post remediation test and did you fix it?
Do you warranty your work?

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Do I have the budget avialable to cover the work? Mold removal can be very costly and is usually NOT covered by the insurance company.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Because we have never failed a post-remediation air sample test, we have set the bar high and will not accept any other result than excellence. Our background and experience has allowed us to see nearly every situation and the execute the proper procedure to remedy the problem and return the structure back to the owner and quickly and safely as possible.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. We love that every single day is a different challenge presented to us and that we are fortunate enough to be able to help our customers return their home and businesses to a safe environment for their families and customers. We never get bored working in the restoration industry and will continue to learn and educate ourselves to stand out.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. We were asked to remove mold from a crawlspace of a home that had been in the family for generations. We were told that the owner's great grandfather cut the trees down from the property and built the house with them. Many of the floor joists still had the original tree bark on them. It was of the utmost importance that the historical integrity be kept when completing the removal. It was definitely a unique challenge; however, one we welcomed and delivered to our customer.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. We are trained and certified by the only governing body for the restoration industry, the IICRC. We also monitor the EPA guidelines for any changes to their standards. Every year, we re-train and update all staff to the correct standards so that we my remain above and beyond our competition.
