Myles installed our double wall oven and did a superfantastic job. He is professional and meticulous. As with any work, a contractor may encounter a challenge. Myles did as we have an older home. Myles assessed the problem on-site, devised a solution, and implemented it. Awesome job. We plan to hire him again, and again.

Miles Handyman is an absolute gem when it comes to fixing, building, and welding! I recently had the pleasure of hiring Miles for jobs around my home, and I must say, I am incredibly impressed. Miles has done a ton of work around the house for me. He is very meticulous and you can tell that he takes pride in his work. At this point I do not know if there is anything the man cannot do. He fixed my storm door that would not close properly. He reset two toilets that were unstable. He installed new bathroom faucets. He pressure washed my driveway. The boat lift carpeting had warn off and it was just exposed wood. He bought marine grade carpet and installed it on the boat lift. The boat lift was not working and he replaced the belt. He unclogged my French drains. Replaced the pump on my irrigation system. He trapped squirrels in my attic and then made the attic squirrel proof by replacing damaged wood and installed metal screen. He repaired my mechanical gate and then repaired my neighbors as well. He fabricated and wielded metal railings for my exterior staircase. He replaced damaged boards on my deck and restrained them to match. He even changed out the shocks on my car and replaced my windshield wipers. I don’t think this is something he normally does but I mentioned I needed it done and he was available and took care of it for me. He also fixed my lawn mower that would not crank. It took him a few days to get the lawn mower parts in but once they arrived he was able to fix it quickly. He also replaced the damaged wood on the soffits around my home. Seriously. He can do anything.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$50.00 per hour Materials not included. You are welcome to acquire your own materials. (This may save you money) but not necessary. Shopping for materials and supplies will be added to my hourly rate.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After first contacting me through Thumbtack, text or a phone call, provide me with a brief description of the job or multiple jobs you would like me to complete. I tipically will request photos and then a phone call to discuss an exact meeting time, job location and materials needed to complete the project. Small straight forward jobs are much simpler with a text or phone call.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've work in a wide variety of trades over 30+ yrs including plumbing, carpentry, electrical, electronics repair, welding, metal fabrication and much more. I also worked as a property manager for 27 years with over 600 units in my care. In addition, I also bought, renovated and sold many home over the years.
