Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Ask to see their demo reel or previous work. The demo reel should reflect the best they can do and if it is mediocre or non-existant that should raise some concern.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Ask how long they have been doing video production. Ask how many people they have? Is it a one-man band,a husband and wife pair or a full production team?

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. What is the purpose of seeking video production? What is the intended goal? Who are you trying to reach? It is important to tailor each production so that the end product is successful in accomplishing what is needed. We try to exceed those goals each time.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. The majority of video places shoot video and then edit with an editing program (usually Final Cut) and call it done. We composite video from layers, integrating motion graphics, color adjustments and effects. We also create 3D models for custom animations which is very rare in Arkansas. We use multiple cameras and unique equipment like 16ft remote jibs for more impressive shots which again is rare. But before the shooting begins we follow a pre-production system like Hollywood, communicating closely with customers so the project is as good as possible. Above all else, we strive to far exceed our customers expectations and our customers can attest to that.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. We started back in 1991 shooting and editing with a pair of CCD Panasonic camcorders. Back then it was linear editing. As we developed our skills and technology changed, we continually upgrade to stay ahead of the curve with software and hardware and constantly learning more and more.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. We wrote and shot a pair of car chase commercials used by AAMCO, Barling P.D. and Arkansas State Police used to deter drinking and driving. Growing up as kids our favorite TV shows always had hot cars and car chases but that type of production is usually only done in Hollywood. With the cooperation of state and local authorities, 9 cameras, a 15 person crew and a full day of shooting we were able to produce something unlike anything that had ever been done in this area before.
