I am providing labor support, childbirth education and breastfeeding services to pregnant moms in Arkansas, Tennessee and Mississippi. I am a registered nurse with 20 years of experience in women's health. I am certified by CAPPA as a labor doula and childbirth educator.
I also train professionals and can provide staff development education around maternity, birth and breastfeeding. Special arrangements can be requested for travel outside the area.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. A Labor Doula provides one on one care during your labor, birth and first hours through postpartum. They are essential for a natural birth. Certified Doula's have the skills to help a mother with communicating your needs and preferences to the healthcare team, keeping a mom progressing in labor and helping with comfort techniques; they add the added one on one support she needs and help the couple to bond together closer with their wonderful new bundle of joy!!
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Many doula's have Labor and Delivery nursing backgrounds which enhances their ability to guide, and care for a laboring mother.
