Introduction: I take great care in the preparation of tax returns of new customers. I like to see prior year tax returns and make conspicuous notes and compose my customer profile, ensuring that I am aware of the type of current information I am expecting to see for the current year. Quality of the final tax return is paramount to the service I offer-we are far from cookie-cutter/franchise operations in that respect. I totally enjoy reviewing prior year tax returns and finding that there may be the need for the customer to file amended tax returns. In a few cases I've prepared amended tax returns for less than $200 that resulted in the customer receiving close to $6000.00 in new tax refunds! Watching the customer's reactions to the news of new money is terrific!
