- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The initial consultation (1 hour) is free. I also offer discounts for multiple sessions.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At the initial consultation, I take the time to listen to you—to learn about what you are passionate about, what your goals are, what has worked for you and has not worked, in your pursuit of healthy living. At the end of the initial consultation, I share my approach to living life more fully and then ask questions to see if we would be a good fit and would work well together, as a team. If we mutually agree to working together, then, during the next session, we put together a personalized plan and strategy to help you accomplish your goals. Typically, we meet weekly thereafter, and would meet until you have met your goals or feel you no longer need the extra support I offer as your coach.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm an ACE Fitness certified health coach and personal trainer. In addition, I've read dozens of books on the topics of sleep, nutrition, exercise, meditation, mindfulness, habit development, positive thinking and willpower. However, most importantly, my experience losing weight, regaining my health and now living life more fully has been my biggest teacher. I have learned more by practicing what I preach then just reading about it. I know how to help others implement meaningful lifestyle changes because I have spent years practicing it myself.
