I have a real passion for entertaining people, it's been in my blood since I was a very young child. My creativity, along with technology and a great sound system, makes it easy for me to continually hone my craft, which in turn, makes my clients very happy! Along with DJ/MC, Karaoke and stage lighting, I also offer a FULL HOUR of "Rat Pack" favorites, sung by me (and YOU)! This is an interactive performance, and a lot of fun! I love the instant gratification my clients get when I do my job correctly! It blows my mind how easy it is to play a combination of sounds that work a group of people into a dancing frenzy, then, calm them down with the very next tune. I LOVE my job!

Dave was our DJ for a Holiday Dinner Dance on December 7 in Rio Verde from 5-9P. He was there by 330P to set up and had time to spare before the festivities began. He was there to help us with anything if we needed him to. Dave did a great job. Starting at 5P with music for cocktail hour, through to dinner, and after when the dancing began. The dance floor was full all the time with him playing various music genre's from slow to fast songs, and line dances in between (he even taught us a line dance). He encouraged people to request any song. He knows his work. Very outgoing, always wanting to please everyone. He is conscious of age appropriate music. I received many compliments for him and I would definitely hire him again. I am passing his information on to the appropriate person for next years Holiday Dinner Dance. You won't go wrong.

We loved working with DJ Dave! He was willing to meet with us several times before our wedding, so we got to know him prior to our big event. He got to know us and our taste in music, as well as make recommendations to what he thought we'd like. Dave is a friendly, nice, honest DJ who is very easy to work with to make your event special. He came to our wedding at the Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain in Tucson, Arizona and made our event stand out. We wanted a classy ceremony with Spanish guitar, he went out of his way to find the songs we requested, even though they were specific. The music was played at a nice volume throughout the cocktail hour and also for the reception. We didn't anticipate to play a lot current music, but it fit perfectly and got everyone dancing. We would definitely call Dave again for another type event, sorry no more weddings for us though! ;) It was a pleasure getting to know someone who loves their job and does a great job at it.

DJ Dave did an excellent job with our community New Year's Eve Party which was later described as the best party of the past 30 years! He arrived early to set up, provided a slide show, kept the dance floor full and kept the energy level up for our group of seniors for the entire evening. At the end of the evening, we booked him for next year!

Not too complicated: I feel my worth as a seasoned Disc Jockey is able to be put into money terms: After 23 years of honing my craft, I feel I deserve $125-$150 per hour to bring my equipment, enthusiasm and experience to you!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was young, my older brother went to a DJ school, through him, I grew an affinity for putting songs together into a large chunk of dance sets. It made me happy to make other people happy, I like happy!
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I just finished a two-day gig, more than 200 miles from my home. It entailed bringing a fair amount of gear and back-up gear. What made me proud, was that I had taken EVERYTHING necessary to complete the gig, and I felt completely worry-free. This feeling shown through to my customer, who asked if I can return in the future!
