Why do I need my dog trained?
You are constantly conditioning and training your dog to avoid others and to perform specific behaviors, whether you realize it or not. In training dogs, timing is crucial. Dogs don't know what behavior is acceptable, expected, or undesirable until they are taught through patience, repetition, and positive reinforcement. Many people encounter problems with their dogs because they simply don't understand how to correctly reinforce positive behavior or expect dogs to already know right from wrong. But dogs don't.

Dogs achieve a clear understanding of what is expected and learn through success and repetition.
Desert Sky K9 training develops dogs' natural talents, and with the right training, dogs' temperaments are not damaged. In fact, it is quite the opposite.
Please be very careful of whom you hire to come to your home. When hiring dog trainers, look for licensed professionals, check references and credentials, know the type of training they use, and do not pay in full for services that you have not yet received. When you pay, make sure there is a contract, receipt, or proof of services. Do a background check, check their names on the BBB directory, and respond only to those who have names or phone numbers you can call.
