When we decided to install Bamboo flooring in our 2.5 year old home, I thought the most difficult part would be choosing the bamboo itself. We soon found out that picking the right installer was significantly more important and more difficult. We started our search by calling all the usual suspects, local installers, Express Flooring, and the big box stores. What we discovered is that everyone you call tells you something different. It seemed to us that there was no one CORRECT way to install our new bamboo flooring. So with technology at our finger tips we started searching for the truth and nothing but the truth about wood flooring. We had three different installers come to our home and measure our floors. As you have probably guessed we received three different square footage measurements. It was hard to believe these installers were in the same house. We received estimates that ranged from 1320 sq feet to 1695 sq feet. That said, in our search we finally found John and Julie of Alliance Flooring Services. We contacted John and Julie by phone and by the next day we had set up a time for them to come from their West Phoenix location out to Gilbert to see our home. They arrived at the time they said they would and talked with us about what we were looking to do and what our schedule for completing the project looked like. Then John and Julie went to work measuring our home room by room and gave a us a number including 5% percent for additional wood, in case there was product damaged in shipping (which there was) and a few feet of replacement wood for damage replacement. They were the only team that actually made a drawing of our home with all the correct measurements. Once we knew how much bamboo we would need and worked out a schedule that worked for all of us we ordered the bamboo and waited for delivery. Julie and John returned to our home once the wood had arrived to test the concrete for moisture and to inspect the bamboo. Both John and Julie, as well as the manufacturer, told us to let the bamboo acclimate in our home for approximately one week prior to installation and had calculated that time in our installation schedule. When it was time to install the flooring, John and Julie arrived again on time, and went to work removing the baseboard and making sure everything was ready for the installation. As John will tell you, Julie is the one that he turns to if there are any questions about the installation of the flooring. She truly has wonderful craftsmanship as the random pattern done for the install looks amazing. They work incredible well as a team and you can tell they enjoy what they do. On a side note, we have been blessed with a 5 year old son who is on the spectrum for Autism and is very interested in anything to do with tools or the process of construction. Our little man has no space bubbles and assumes that all people are as open to hugs and touching as his family. For that very reason we are very careful about who comes into our home. John and Julie made friends with our son immediately and never seemed bothered or distracted by him. We know how hard it is to find great trades people, but it even harder to find those great people with big hearts. We would highly recommend John and Julie to anyone who is looking for installation of any flooring product. We have asked Julie to come back soon in the future and provide us with her vision of what we can do in our master bathroom to design a snail shower. We are all looking forward to seeing them both again.

Alliance flooring was easy to work with, fast, and did a good job overall. The whole process was very smooth - I had a few complaints to make at the end but they came back to address these and got everything wrapped up nicely in the end.

John and team were responsive and agile with regards to my request. They matched existing flooring and used photo text messaging and calls to speed along the process. The wood flooring looks amazing! Carpet installed looks great, too. I had some minor follow ups with the carpet and as soon as I contacted John, he made time for me that week to fix it up. I will do business with Alliance again.
