Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Go through magazines and find pictures of arrangements and bouquets that you like. It will help your floral arranger to get a feel for your taste.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. How to get more use from the floral arrangements.
We utilize arrangements for both the ceremony and the reception. It cut cost and you can still have a beautiful wedding.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I strive to personalize every wedding. Each bride gets our full attention. We work hard to pay attention to details and to make the Brides dreams come true on her special day.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. Seeing the look on the brides face when everything is just the way she wanted it. It's priceless.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. How they can get the look they want on a limited budget.
I tell the bride that I will work very hard to stay within her budget. I will give her a itemized proposal so that she can review each item.
Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?
A. I was working with a facility on a wedding. The wedding facilitator came and sat down with me and went over all of the flower arrangements (including the bouquet) that were needed. I NEVER MET THE BRIDE. Needless to say I was very nervous the day of the event. But the Bride absolutely loved everything that was done. It was a good feeling knowing we made her day a beautiful one.
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. I was helping some young brides in our church with their wedding decor and loved it. I took floral classes and have working in the event and wedding decor field ever since. (16 years)
Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?
A. Absolutely. It is a must to stay on top of wedding trends.
