Introduction: I usually attract those who have sensitive skin like me. I only use natural products and offer a warm customer service and share new information as I get it. What I like most about the service I provide.... I am allowed to work with people as they transition to locs. For some the experience is one of personal growth and self acceptance. I enjoy seeing their joy as their grows and eventually lock. We are on a journey together.

Hello my name is Amanda and I started my locs in August of 2011. After several months of trying to twist and take care of my hair,I realized that I needed some help. So I called and booked myself an appointment with Najeri at the Elegant Elephant Natural Salon. Once I arrived she greeted me with a smile and a hearty welcome. As she examined my hair she then asked me a few questions about my hair, after answering her questions. She was so very truthful with me about the condition of my hair, she explained to me how that by dying my hair every two to three weeks I had over processed it. She also explained that she would help me get my hair back healthy, and strong she washed and conditioned it and re-twisted it. She encouraged me and instructed on how to care for and to love my locs. I am proud to say that today I'm nappy and very happy and that I love my locs.By following Najeri's instructions and allowing her to continued to care for my hair and it is strong, healthy and growing again. I want to say thank you again to Najeri for all of the love and care you put into my hair,and for instructing me on how to care and love my locs!!!! Thanks Najeri

My goal is to provide natural hair care service. I primarily start and maintain loc styles. We also assist individuals during their journey of transitioning to natural hair styles and use the most natural hair care products.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Your loctician should provide a consultation for your hair before your services are provided. Talk to your loctician about issues with your skin and hair as you begin your journey. Ask as many questions as you as you need to so you are comfortable. Enjoy your journey.
