Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Hire a service provider that has alot of experience and knowledge of his field. Someone who is willing to make suggestions and give recommendations. Find someone who is honest and willing to communicate with their customers.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. The most important thing about painting is knowing the best way to apply the paint based on the project conditions. In some cases, spraying is the best application and other times is brushing and rolling. another important factor is knowing what to of finish to use for the project (flat, eggshell, semi-gloss, etc.) Some finishes hold up better than others under certain conditions
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. Ask how much experience the provider and their employees have. Are the licensed, bonded, and insured? What forms of payment do they accept? Do they guarantee their work?
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. The most important thing for customers to decide on is color and finish (flat, eggshell, semi-gloss) of the paint to be applied. Many paint suppliers offer small sample jars of paint at a reasonable price. You can get a better idea of how a color will look by painting a small area on one or two walls rather than a paint swatch.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. Prepping the surfaces to be painted is very important to ensure the highest quality of results both in appearance and endurance. Simple steps like sanding doors and trim and filling small holes and cracks in walls greatly improves the finished product. Most painters skip these steps, we don't.
