- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My system is absolutely simple. I charge a flat fee, and do not charge extra for any other service provided. I now limit my services to the greater west and northwest Valley.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am usually contacted initially by email. After confirming that I am available on a particular date, I ask that couples complete the "About You" questionnaire located on my website so that I have a very cursory idea of they are hoping to create as their wedding celebration.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed two years of intensive training in liturgy and celebration at Corpus Christi Institute in Phoenix. I also have a degree in English, and have been a professional writer for more than 30 years. I am one of the founders of the West Valley Wedding Association, which puts me in close proximity to other members of the wedding industry, and we exchange information and ideas. I continue to read, study, and participate in forums and discussions as often as possible to keep up with the changes and trends in weddings, and the way people celebrate them.
