My name is Michael J. Desi, owner and operator of Desired Handyman, LLC. I have been a resident of Goodyear for 7 years and my business has been solvent and in good standing for 4 of those years since its inception. I belong to the Southwest Chamber of Commerce (in good standing). I have over 350 clients in Goodyear and surrounding areas throughout the valley. I am licensed and insured and have ties to two general contractors which enables me to do extensive remodels.I am proficient in all phases of home repair and construction with over 25 years experience. I have many references which I will provide upon request.
My licenses include, Arizona Home Inspection, National Certification in residential HVAC. I have worked for Pulte Homes as a customer service representative and Pillar to Post as a home inspector.
I pride myself in separating myself from my competition by being on time all of the time and for those unforeseen
circumstances that sometimes come up, I will call 100% of the time. Call backs will be made on the same day they are received. I also pride myself in my utmost integrity to my clients.

I called Michael after calling three other people (two did not show up and one made a bigger mess than helped!) out to my house for some misc. repairs while my husband was deployed. He was prompt, professional, super honest (one repair actually didn't need to be done), reasonable. and courteous. I own my own business I know that this is hard to find! Michael wasn't the first one I called (my mistake) but I'm so glad I found him - because he defiantely will be the ONLY one I'll use from now on!

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. Pigeon control, plumbing, electrical...I have a lot of common jobs.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. If they give there word to you and they break it, do not do business with them again...Check there references.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. The only inside secret I could share is just be honest, integral...If you say something stand behind it...that is about it...
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. None really...I usually ask all of the questions. I also like to come over and see the job first hand.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. My Integrity and Experience makes me stand out from my other competitors. I also have a guarantee on all of my work. If they are not happy either am I...
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I call the shots, no one to answer to but me, I have enough pride in my work and being a perfectionist makes it a pleasure to do the work. I also love meeting people.

A. Do you do hourly or by the job....I do both
What do you do....I do everything no job to big or too small.
Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?
A. I have too many too list...really I do..Actually they are amazed at what I can do at my age.
Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. I wish they knew how dedicated I was to doing a great job for them and how much I care about them as people. This is not just about making money, it is about making connections with people.
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. Quite by accident and Karma I guess...I got laid off from Pulte homes (Corporation)...that was the second time dealing with a corporation...was not going for the third strike...
