FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard office rate is $50.00 per hour, but I find that it works out better for my clients if I get a clear understanding of what they are looking for and let me quote an actual price for the work to be done. Many times there are other consultants that might need to get involved and I need to get quotes for their services before I can completely dial my pricing in.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet with a potential client and discuss, in general the scope of the project. I can usually give a prospect a general idea on what is and isn't possible, the potential issues that are involved, and what the municipal departments will be looking for. At that point I go back, write up an agreement and if acceptable, come back out on a separate trip to document existing conditions and continue the scope of work discussion in detail before I start work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a dean's list graduate from Phoenix Institute of Technology in architectural drafting, as well as hold three associates degrees and a bachelors degree. This coupled with nearly 30 years of experience makes me highly qualified for most projects; regardless of size or complication.
