Introduction: I have been a Practitioner of Chinese Medicine since 2005. I have been a Registered Nurse since 1997. I currently work in both fields and always utilize all my skills and training when I work with my patient. I have also had the opportunity to train in Beijing China in 2007. A new addition to my practice is a piece of equipment call the AcuGraph. It allows the patient to see their Qi in graph form and shows them, where in the body, Qi may be unbalanced. It also allows the patient to keep track of their progress.

Mindy Hayden listens actively and has a professional demeanor around customers. She is intelligent, skilled and considers the quality of her work to be important. I've been seeing Mindy for the past year or so, and can testify that she truly works wonders with her magical touch. I have mostly sought out acupuncture as part of a personal stress-management strategy, but whether something in my life is stressing me out or physically causing me pain, I always emerge from Mindy's treatment room as a more peaceful, centered being. She has a gentle but effective needling style. I saw results within 24 hours and have been coming back to see her ever since. When you walk in, it smells so lovely and has wonderful soft soothing sounds playing which made the atmosphere very calming. This place is by far the best stress and pain relief experience I could ever wish for. Mindy is so sweet, caring, knowledgeable, and is personal. I left her office feeling rested and more centered.

I was desperate to find some way to relieve the pain I was experiencing in my foot. When I booked my first appointment with Mindy Hayden I knew nothing about acupuncture except what others had told me. Mindy was so good about explaining everything as we went and about telling me what to expect next. She was professional, kind and very gentle. I was a bit apprehensive about the possible pain of the acupuncture but Mindy has a very tender hand so I didn't experience any pain. The office and therapy rooms are very clean and tidy. I am very happy with the service and the results.

Mindy listened to my issues and with a Masters in acupuncture as well as being an RN, I felt more comfortable with her that I did going to a doctor again who had not helped me. The issue came back. Mindy has treated me with 3 sessions and the pain I was in has been reduced in half. I also love that Mindy is treated my whole body not just the one issue that I went to her for. She is professional, knowledgeable, peaceful, a great communicator and cares about my health and wellness while making sure I understand and feel comfortable. Mindy and acupuncture is helping me very much to be in less pain and heal. I am grateful and thankful to have found her!

I was very impressed with the office, decorated perfectly and a very relaxing atmosphere. Mindy is extremely knowledgeable and professional. She explained very step and detail carefully so I learned a great deal. The treatment itself seemed quick but maybe the future ones will be longer and cover more areas.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

People generally first consider trying acupuncture for either a pain condition or stress and anxiety problems. With acupuncture, I can typically help treat both problems very well. What most people don't realize is that acupuncture and Chinese herbs can help in treatment of so much more. Check out my website: www.HaydenAcupuncture.com

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When you are looking for an Acupuncturist you want to make sure you find someone who has been trained in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. You want to look for the credentials of LAc. This stands for Licensed Acupuncturist. These practitioners went to school, full time for about 4 years to learn Traditional Chinese Medicine which includes Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs. Be leery of medical doctors, chiropractors or naturopathic doctors who claim to be acupuncturist as well. A true acupuncturist are those who have those important initials of "LAc" behind their name.
