Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. The majority of my jobs are wedding announcements, shower invitations, and business cards. I have also done a great amount of photo restoration as well as photo manipulation and digital art.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Try to have some idea of what you are wanting. As much as I would like to be, I am not a mind reader :) Having some idea of what you want will be super helpful to me. Think about the colors you want incorporated or maybe any design elements such as polka dots, swirls, flowers, or stripes. If you have a theme you would like to incorporate, that is also very helpful. If you can, think also about the layout you might prefer. Would you like a 1 sided, 2 sided, horizontal, or vertical? Anything hints you can give me on what you are looking for is greatly appreciated.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I love being able to take what one person sees in their head and put it into a design. The greatest thing is to see the reaction when their project becomes exactly what they were hoping for. I strive to hear the phrase "it's PERFECT!" from each on of my clients.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I started with an interest in photography, which took me to editing photographs. After a while, I found that I wanted to do more than just editing. I wanted to CREATE! I haven't stopped since.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. Learning is one of my favorite things to do. I am always taking classes at the local college or online to keep up to date with the current software or learn new things.
