- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely. I have engaged in webinars to keep up with the tools of the trade and partake in local networking groups in the wedding industry to keep up with the latest trends. I also try to engage with the community to find out what is currently in demand regarding paper and design.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was actually persuaded by a colleague to pursue this line of work. I had a career in the interior design industry and she gave me the push that I needed to open up a small business on the side. It ended up becoming more and more what I wanted to do professionally, so I took the plunge and dove into C. Lacey Design head first! 4 years later, I am a happy, full-time business owner!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have a wide variety of projects that I commonly work on from full wedding packages, save the dates, reception decor including ceremony programs, place cards and table numbers, shower invitations and digital designs.
