Question and answer

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. How do I hold the pick or write to make good music? Any mechanical tricks to cut the length of time it takes to play well? What's timing all about? How do I practice?

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Explaining music theory in a reasonable/simple fashion.
Teaching Improvisation within a few weeks. Professional musicians use good mechanical form for their instruments. Why not start there? Helping to develop confidence and earned respect for working to get what students want (practicing in good form:) then actually seeing/hearing the results.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Influencing the next generation of musicians to think and play for the music. Learning theory and Structure is great for remembering the many rules of solid musical composition. I also really enjoy playing Guitar, Bass, Drums , Piano and Singing/Songwriting.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. We help build confidence and genuine self esteem to those that will put forth any effort at all. I've seen 90% of all our students earn a healthy, measurable improvement.
