FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
As I stated above its only fair that I see the work needing to be done so I can give an accurate rate at that time. I don't generally clean homes over 4000 sq. ft and no more frequently than every other week or monthly. One time cleans are generally a set hourly rate between $20.00-25.00 per hour. Regular cleans are less. Windows are per window depending on size, screens, and nothing more than 2 stories high. This leaves plenty or openings on a weekly basis for business who may want cleaning more frequently. Pricing for a business is dependent on visual inspection of the location.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I can only give an approximate rate for work over the phone with just a few questions. I prefer coming to the location where I can give a more accurate bid for your needs. That is at no cost to the customer. At that point the customer can make a decision and a schedule is set up. I have a small contract of tasks expected and payment required so all is understood for everyone.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to college and worked as a social worker for over 10 years. The job I took on was very stressful and took me away from my own family too much. So I went in to home health care for almost 10 years which in a natural sort of way turned in to my unique Home Services business that I have now. My experience working for small business's evolved through a desire to work after hours or evenings in the summers and heat. I found it something I was effective at and enjoyed. Now I clean business locations year round and the diversitybetween personal and professional settings keeps things fresh.
