FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always enjoyed capturing special moments in my life with photography. When I became a parent to my son, I had some portraits taken of him by an aspiring photographer. They just took my breath away, and I knew then I wanted to learn how to create portraits of my own children. With tons of practice and a lot of studying, I started to get requests from friends to take pictures of their family, and it turned into a business for me.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I usually do on-location outdoor sessions that are customized to the size of family and the ages of the children. I have a gallery on my website that shows examples of different places around the valley that I have had photo sessions. Depending on whether you want a desert background or more lush foliage, I can find good spots for any type of session requested! If you contact me, I will work with you to pick a session that is perfect for your situation and family. Clients typically pick an hour to two hour session depending on wether the session is for Holiday cards, Headshots or for a milestone event.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
The work I am most proud of is my involvement with The Gold Hope Project. I have had the pleasure of providing two sessions for children fighting cancer. These sessions are so special, and I am honored to be able to spend time with these kiddos and their loving family. I am also an area coordinator for the project and hope to help spread the word about childhood cancer awareness. "Until there is a cure, there is hope".
