We don't offer the obvious.

I do small weddings, milestone birthdays, anniversaries, baptisms, confirmations, Bar Mitzvah and Bat Mitzvah, Sweet 16, or coming out parties and Quincenera. My customers say I "make them look good."

I do portraits and event photography, including family portraits, senior citizen portraits and senior graduation portraits.

I am a provider of stock photography for ads and PR. If I don't have it, I will shoot it. I am also a provider of framed art work for hanging in hotel, corporate office, doctor's offices, hospitals, and homes. I offer fabulous landscapes and a beautiful selection. Leasing is also available

I've watched this photographer's portfolio develop and expand over more than ten years. After perusing the wide selection of photographs offered, I recently chose one to hang in my home and one for an organization. One photo was framed; the other I had framed myself. Both are beautiful. I recommend this photographer to anyone wanting to purchase a quality product from an excellent and conscientious source who obviously loves working in this art form.

I have seen and work with Karen many times. She is very picky about what she does and does it with extreame profection. I would call her ina heart beat.

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. I do famiy portraits of all kinds; family events of all kinds from birth to wedding to 50th anniversary parties, and everything in between. I come to you with backdrops and lights and shoot in your own surroundings where you are most comfortable. My photography is unique in that service - call - I come to you - you are relaxed at home with the opportunity to change outfits without having to lug them with you to a studio. What could be a more pleasant experience??

Q. Describe three recent jobs you've completed.

A. Just completed a wonderful family shoot of five people out in Maricopa. What a neat group to work with. And the little boy - about three - was just great to shoot. He posed and posed., and I got some fantastic shots! For these kind of folks I'll travel that far... it made it worth the trip.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Check their qualifications. View the website and see if the portraits or weddings listed thereon suit the type of photography you need. Do they travel to you? Do you have to go to a studio? Which would you prefer? Do you need a particular landscape for the wall over the couch or over the buffet? Do you prefer realistic photographs, or do you prefer modern art? Which does this photographer offer?

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Does that photographer touch-up photographs? Do I look like I want to look? Is the lighting right? How much does that photographer change the photo? Is it just cropped or has it been brightened and colors enhanced.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. How far do you travel for appointments? Do you have days you do not travel? What organizations do you belong to? How long have you been in business? Are your prices consistent? Do you charge extra for travel outside the metropolitan area? What is your turn-around time?

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Excellent attention to detail, color, composition; conscientious and dependable. Highest work ethics.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I love being behind the camera, out in nature, shooting a fabulous "purple" mountain or a roaring river. My second love is the work behind the scenes, enhancing and improving that already wonderful shot that only nature can provide.
