Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: To whom it may concern: Hello, I am Tim Mortimer of Right Stuff Productions LLC. Please send me a reply that you got this and what your decision is. I am a clean-cut freelance technician who performs labor for setups, teardowns, and shows and shoots. Though I do not have all the required gear for productions, I do have my own tools, which I use, at the production site. I am very good in my profession, and my clients and other fellow technicians know me as one of the best in Arizona. I am currently seeking new clients and booking for upcoming productions and would like to be considered for any productions you may be scheduling. I have been in the staging industry since 1995. In 2003, I expanded my services to include the film, video, commercial and broadcasting industries. In 2005, I became a freelance technician and have covered every facet of the industry from movies to commercials, meetings, scenic, trade shows, A/V production, and live and taped venues. Objective My objective is to obtain a position of interest while utilizing the skills I have obtained throughout my years of experience both on and off the productions as a technical hand, production manager and/or assistant and freelance artist. Education I have a degree from Scottsdale Community College. I studied technical theatre, lighting design and film/video school. Note: Scottsdale Community College (Kim Williamson) ask me if I would teach the technical theatre class, until they could find a replacement for current instructor who is in the process of quitting. Experience My experience includes staging for many venues such as arena, theatre, ballrooms, and convention centers -- including rock-and-roll concerts, corporate, meetings, opera, ballad, car and trade-show events, exhibits, museums, magicians, wrestling, boxing, presidential, special events and many other areas. I am also fully capable of providing labor in any of these areas and others such as video, broadcasting, and film including sci-fis, horrors, dramas, comedies, meetings, commercials, studios, chroma screens and others. I am multitalented in staging area and work in each of these fields: lighting, audio, and video technician as well as carpenter, rigger, projectionist, video switcher, spotlight, camera operator (long lens CCU), cable grip, breakout manager, fly man op, led wall building, lasers setup, electrician, technical director, production assistant, supervisor, assistant stage manager, audio mixing for meetings, un/load trucks, push cases and other areas. Although my specialty is lighting and video, I have used scissor, boom forklifts, and forklifts. I have experience in working on well over 1,000 shows. I am multitalented in production as a driver, grip, key grip, dolly grip, jib operator, PA, rigger, lighting tech, best boy, gaffer, electrician, carpenter, studio technician and others. I have also done acting as an extra/actor and voice-overs. I have done 35 movies and commercials. I recently finished work on a full-feature movie called "Cathedral City." For credits, please click on this. I am very reliable, and once I am confirmed for a job, I will be there early. Last year's daily average fee from most of my clients is $249.60 per day; pay is negotiable. I take great pride in all jobs I perform, and there is no show or shoot too small or big. I am always a great asset to your production. I am one who will finish the job and ask what is the next job. Even though I mainly work on local shows in Phoenix, AZ, and the surrounding areas, I am willing to travel and do tours. I have been a driver for box trucks. I do interstate driving carrying production equipment and have a clean record. I would appreciate it if you would look over my information and forward my services to other businesses you feel may want to use my services. I send my listing weekly, which includes schedule updates. Most clients find this very useful when booking me for jobs. If you would like to be on this list, please respond with the subject of "Put me your weekly list." I also have a listing for other technicians. You may contact me by my cell phone; if I am unable to answer, please leave a voice message with your name and number and a brief message. You may also contact me by email. I will return all calls and respond to all e-mails in order for us to schedule an appointment for a personal, telephone or instant message interview. Business and personal references are available upon request. For more information, please visit my website. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to working with you soon. Sincerely, Tim Mortimer Right Stuff Productions L.L.C. 258 W. 9th street Mesa, AZ. 85201 I have been a freelance technician/crewman since 1995, for stage, video, commercials and broadcasting. I am a man who strives to be the best, and it shows.
