- What types of customers have you worked with?
I normally do quick civil ceremonies that last a few minutes and have less than a few people present. The prices that I quote are for larger parties but if a couple tells me that its for a very small gathering in many cases we greatly reduce the prices to meet their budget.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure the officiant you hire is trustworthy and you like them. Also make sure before you hand over any money make sure you have everything in writing so you can protect yourself and if there is any doubt about their credentials ask for them.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
In this profession, its more about just performing weddings and celebrations. Its also about counseling families in times of sorrow especially when a love one has passed away, or performing last rights to a person that is about to die in a hospice or hospital. Its also about reaching out to the poor and the dregs of society to let them know that people are there to help them. It is also the responsibility of Clergy to take on social issues and do what is right. I don't want to sound to preachy but its to take the real work and word of God and his son Jesus Christ to those who need to hear it from the poorest of the poor to the richest of the rich. We live by the saying: "what you do unto the least of thee, you do unto me" Jesus
