Introduction: I am careful of details, a loose hair, awkward shadows. Angle of hands and veins, face and legs so they are not distorted, ( one long - one short, a nose protruding from someone's cheek. Evaluating the subjects eyes, so the image ( portrait) does make the person look like a Cyclops with one huge eye. Help in selecting from the model's wardrobe a choice of clothing that flatters the subject rather then making them look heavy or too skinny. Make suggestions on the persons make-up, being more "natural" rather then trensd of the moment. ( unless doing a fashion shoot where this may be importrant) Being creative, professional and getting results that fulfill my client's needs. Still love doing photography that gets compliments and awards time after time,

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge by the project ( quotation on review of what has to be completed) or by the hour ( minimum of 3 hours time)
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a faculty instructor for Adult-Ed classes at PVCC community college and also at the Scottsdale Artist School. I last attended an Adobe Photoshop workshop to keep up my skills.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been fascinated with Lighting, Fashion and Seeing details that most others pass over, I started out as a product designer after graduating from the Cleveland Institute of Art and went to Chicago to apprentice in several studios. This is where I really learned about lighting from several Pro's that did catalog photography. Later I worked in a another studio near Playboy headquarters where I had an opportunity to photograph a number of the models for their portfolios along with shooting model composites for local Chicago and then Detroit modeling agencies.
