FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing system is very cut and dry for the most part. I use a flat rate. I give discounts for seniors, for Thumbtack clients and for multiple family members. I also give a referral discount if a client sends me new business. My most expensive return is for businesses. They require more forms and detail. But my rate is low because I have no overhead office expenses to cover. I pass that savings on to my clients.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I let them decide. We can work by e-mail and phone. We can have a meeting and discuss situations that they have. We can do all the work by mail. Many of my clients are out of town or out of state.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. I attend Tutorials by the Tax Program developer. I also sign up for a class put on by Tax Attorneys that analyze the new changes and how they affect the average tax payer.
