Question and answer
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Check references, meet in person to see how does pet care professional interacts with your animals. Make sure that they have experience in different levels of the pet care, training, walking, nutrition, safety.
Consultation should be free, don't pay everything upfront. Test them before you leave the town, make sure that they are on time and reliable. Have a friend or a neighbor stop by and check on them and the pet.
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. Love, love and love for animals and their well being. it started just as a dog walking and pet care job but then i was very interested in educating people on how to communicate and train their pets. Education on care, nutrition, spay and neuter is the way to go about changing the general picture and having less homeless pets, specially here in AZ.
Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.
A. I am working with few dificut dogs at all time but this one is special. His name is Butch and his foster mom rescued him from street of Phoenix. He was scared of people to the point of peeing and shaking if you even look at him. With a lot of positive reinforcement and rewards this dog is now being walked on the leash daily, loves to meet people and other dogs and is ready to find a forever home. Yeey!
