Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. The most common types of jobs I perform are satellite system installations and repair, flat panel TV wall mounting, and LCD TV repair.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I work with the customer to get them the best solution for their needs and their budget. I'm a one man operation so my prices will always be lower than other companies. I have very little overhead so my labor is low and I only add a 5 to 10% charge on any products I sell. I also warranty my work and service calls are usually free!

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. What I like most about my job is that I am my own boss. I am the owner, salesman, technician, installer, etc. I have full control over all aspects of my business. My customers only have to deal with one person for all their needs - me!

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. My most recent project was a large one. The customer contacted me through Thumbtack. I installed 6 CAT5e internet outlets throughout the house; a 5.1 surround sound system; 3 speaker pairs for audio in a bedroom, the hallway, and the patio; a 3 room Dish Network system; 2 LCD tvs mounted on walls with the wires concealed in the wall; and also sold and installed a large component shelf. The job took six weeks. Total price for parts and labor - under $1900. The customer was very pleased and has referred me to a commercial project that I will be working on soon!
