Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. We try and take all the being very scared out of being away from home by providing a quieter more " like home"
Environment. No cages or kennels ever! They are free
to sleep where they want, go out when they want, while still having a safe supervised away from home stay.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. I always advise you go to the place where you are leaving your pet ahead of time. Everyone can meet, talk over details of your pets stay, such as medication details and any special feeding instructions. Maybe they wont feel like its such a strange place the
Second time around.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Not really, the biggest thing to be remembered in this industry is that someones pet, is usually much more than that, they are truly a member of the family and always should be treated as such, and thats the only type of people that I would let care for my pets.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I treat all of my boarders exactly as if they were my own. I want them to feel safe and secure and completely at home, I can and do, spend the time with them to insure that.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I get to meet some great pets and Pet Parents!! We get to swap stories just like we would with our children or our grandchildren.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. They want to know what to bring with them and if we feed them our food. And yes, I can feed them what we have here. But they are already under enough stress so changing their food is never a good idea. So I tell everyone to bring their own food, and what ever you feel will make them most comfortable. Everything is labeled so it all goes back home with your pet.
