FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard pricing is $200 per hour. In some cases such as establishing paternity or severance, a flat fee can be negotiated. A substantial down payment is required. The amount is approximately one half of the total fee amount expected.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process starts with the initial meeting of a half hour. The client is given "homework" such as gathering documents, obtaining witness information, signing forms and creating a timeline. Much information gathering can be done by the client themselves to save money.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Not only do I have a law degree, but I also have 2 bachelors' degrees and work towards a Masters. I take continuing education classes in family, criminal, veteran and juvenile law.
