I have been working with Barclay for more than six months. I started with her after having been laid off. She provided great support, great questions and held me accountable for my own progress. It was great and was really important during a high stress time of life. I have kept working with her, now focusing on health and wellness. My weight is down, I am exercising more and consistently achieving goals that seemed out of reach. Working with Barclay has been great.

Barclay came to my home to help me with my kitchen struggles. This included not knowing what is in my pantry, and my dislike of grocery shopping. I also struggled with what to make for dinner. After talking it through with Barclay and a little help with modern technology, I was able to get a handle on this seemingly insignificant yet stressful daily problem. Even though these issues weren't huge, they took up a lot of my time and energy. I can now focus on other more enjoyable things. I'm truly grateful for Barclay's help. I would recommend this process to anyone who struggles with kitchen dilemmas.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    Positive Psychology or the science of personal flourishing is a huge area of interest to me. I've studied Strengths with the VIA Institute and Positive Psychology with Dr. Barbara Fredrickson. I've also earned a certificate in Whole Food Plant-Based Eating with T. Colin Campbell. My coaching degree is from the International Coach Academy.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

    I most often work with people who have come to realize that improving their health and well-being is all about tapping into what works best for them. Each client is unique, but most have poor lifestyle habits that are holding them back - overeating, working too hard, junk food, negative-self talk. They see the need for change, they're just not sure how to get started or have trouble staying on track.
